I came to this design in stages, playing at first with blue copper, folding it over silver wire, clipping and cutting and bending it until the form of a sun began to emerge. I then held a silver disc behind and saw that spirals would give energy to the design. I cut out these spirals and attached the disc from behind the copper sun where it swings freely, giving this radiant tribal piece jazzy movement. This necklace partners beautifully with the Spiral Dance Earrings and the Glacial Slate Ring.
*Note: a special coating has been applied to the copper to maintain the oxidized blue over time.
