Years ago, I traveled to the poor, isolated island of Sumba, Indonesia to meet the women weavers whose work I had long admired and to see their process. They offered to show me their most prized heirloom textiles. When they took the weavings proudly from their wooden boxes and unfolded them, I was overcome by the energy of the recurring timeless spiral motif. I designed the pieces in this set in homage to the spiral - that life-giving universal motif found abundantly in nature and across all cultures and time. Partners beautifully with the Homage Necklace and the Homage Earrings.
